Like most things, Emerald + Onyx began with an insatiable need for more.
More growth.
More connection.
More honesty.
More love.
I wandered into the world of cosmetology starry eyed and blissfully naive. Over the years, I’ve met so many life changing people who helped shape me into the woman I owed to myself, and to them… the ones who poured love into me on my best and worst days alike.
So much of Emerald + Onyx is for and because of them.
The beloved Emerald is a captivating gemstone that symbolizes prosperity, growth and new beginnings. This rich, deep green gem has served as a symbol of hope, foresight and rebirth for centuries. This journey is our Emerald: A prosperous new beginning, rooted in love and servitude for the betterment of all. She beams with hope and excitement for what’s to come and reminds us that this is simply the beginning of something bigger.
Protective and grounding Onyx is a stone of balance, believed to reduce stress and ward off negative energy. For us, Onyx represents the fragile balance of polarities, as our craft is often perceived as an art of outward beauty, though our mission truly lives in nurturing inward beauty through self-care, self-love and connection. Onyx also teaches us the beauty of divergent thought, rejecting the idea of good or bad, and instead embracing that all things are both. Here, you will always be safe to be both. After all, you are our Onyx.
