Baby Roach’s nursery is ready for its big reveal and we couldn’t be more pleased with how it turned out!

When designing this room I knew I wanted something neutral and timeless. A room that could work for both a boy or girl, but also grow with them as they became older. Each piece of furniture was chosen with the intention that we will get years of use out of them. The dresser and chair can be used until they are adults, or fit seamlessly into our home in any room because of the neutral colors. This crib turns into a toddler bed and can be used for many years, then converted back into a crib and again into a toddler bed if we have multiple children. The Wallpaper is tranquil and neutral, but adds a bit of fun and interest to the space. I wanted to make sure that this room fit seamlessly into our home decor/vibe, and wasn’t something that was extreme or too bold. When you walk down the hallway and glance in I wanted it to feel like an extension of our home and not a juxtaposition. When all the bones are neutral and timeless you can layer in more whimsical pieces like the custom baby blocks, the alphabet poster, colored pennants, and fun little stuffed animals like the rabbit or Cuddle and Kind doll to achieve that sweetness you want in a nursery. The white shelving is the perfect place to be whimsical as well. We added in art work, books, and will be adding our first picture as a family into the empty frame. The mini felt letter board will also be updated with babies name and birthday, and can be used to document milestones, and other exciting things like holidays.
